Terms of Use (EULA)

By accessing or using Careerify AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Careerify AI.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Careerify AI for personal career development purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Service to violate any laws or regulations

To use Careerify AI, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Create an account using valid credentials (Google Sign-In)
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Free Tier: Limited access to one resume analysis with basic features.

Premium Subscription:

• Monthly subscription at $9.99/month (or as displayed in-app)
• Unlimited resume analyses and optimizations
• Full access to interview prep, career intelligence, and all premium features
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
• Payments processed via Stripe (web) or Apple App Store/Google Play Store (mobile)

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.

You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, career data). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your content through AI models to provide our services
• Store your data securely in our systems
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use all content you provide
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your content does not contain harmful, illegal, or offensive material

Important Disclaimer:

• Careerify AI uses artificial intelligence to generate career advice, resume improvements, and interview responses
• AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
• You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• We do not guarantee job placement, interview success, or career advancement outcomes
• AI recommendations should be used as guidance, not absolute truth

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Share your account credentials with others

All intellectual property in the Service (including but not limited to software, design, logos, text, graphics, AI models) is owned by Careerify AI or its licensors. You may not use our intellectual property without explicit permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated content will be accurate or lead to desired outcomes
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• Your data will never be lost (always keep backups)

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAREERIFY AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, data, opportunities, or employment
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Any reason, with or without notice

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
